Located at the North side of Damanganga River, the fort was constructed to keep a watch on maritime activities. The main attraction of this fort is the Church of Our Lady of the Sea, one of the ancient seats of the office with a fine altar.The Portuguese war cemetery is another attraction. The thick walls of the architecture which have stood for nearly four centuries, is a sight to behold.
